A hot moment after Intel launched its Arrow Lake processors ahead of CES 2025, Samsung announced the upgraded versions of the Galaxy Book5 Pro and Galaxy Book5 360 notebooks. The Galaxy AI PCs come with certain new features, including AI select, which works like the Circle to Search feature on Galaxy smartphones.

Then there’s the Photo Remaster feature that helps retouch images and clean up blurry photos. Further, the devices will sport native Microsoft Phone Link support and additional features like Live Translate and Transcript Assist. The Arrow Lake-powered notebooks will also offer features like Nearby Devices and Storage Share, which are set to arrive on Galaxy devices with One Ui 7.0.

The Galaxy Book5 Pro packs a 16-inch AMOLED screen (16:10) that supports touch inputs. With a 2,880 x 1,800 resolution (WQXGA+) and support for 500 nits peak brightness (for HDR content), the notebook supports a variable refresh rate (48-120Hz).

Under the hood, the Galaxy Book5 Pro (16-inch) features the new Intel Core Ultra 7 or Core Ultra 5 processor. These processors belong to the Arrow Lake family of processors revealed at CES 2025. Even though the processors feature the Intel AI Boost NPU, they don’t get the CoPilot Plus features. Nonetheless, buyers also get Intel Arc Graphics.

The Intel chipsets are combined with either 16GB or 32GB of memory and up to 1TB of storage. Out of the box, the notebook runs on the Windows 11 Home operating system. Connectivity options include one USB-A port, a micro SD card reader, HDMI 2.1 (8K@60Hz), Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth v5.4.
