Project Haean will introduce smart glasses from Samsung that resemble traditional eyewear, designed to be worn directly in front of the eyes. These glasses will project information and images onto the lenses and will also transmit sound through the frame. Unlike head-mounted devices, they are intended to be lightweight and convenient for outdoor use while on the go. Recognizing that facial structures vary among individuals and that comfort is crucial, the brand aims to create a design that is tailored to human needs.
Smart glasses are being developed with integrated cameras and sensors capable of detecting movements. These innovative glasses are anticipated to utilize the same Snapdragon XR2 Plus Gen 2 chipset found in the Project Moohan headset. They are expected to include a 155mAh battery and a 12MP camera, along with a range of sensors.

Industry experts indicate that Samsung plans to launch a glass-type and a head-mounted device concurrently by the end of 2025. This announcement will feature products from Project Haean and Project Jinju, as well as Project Moohan, which is developed on the Android XR Platform in collaboration with Google and Qualcomm.
Through the introduction of two distinct types of glasses, Samsung aims to enhance the user experience by addressing the needs of various users. The head-mounted XR glasses are designed to block out external light and fit snugly against the face, enabling users to fully benefit from high-resolution imagery, which is ideal for professionals. Conversely, the smart glasses are lightweight and slim, featuring a design akin to traditional glasses or sunglasses, making them practical for daily use.
