Popular Audio brand Sennheiser has launched a new TWS Buds in its MOMENTUM Series. The company has launched Sennheiser Momentum Sport Earbuds in the country that claims to offer the next evolution in audio for athletes and fitness enthusiasts. The Momentum Sport Earbuds are equipped with in-ear sensors that capture heart as well as body temperature data, which allows users to optimize their training.
At the launch event, the representative from Sennheiser mentioned, “After dedicating more than three years to the development process, we are proud to introduce the MOMENTUM Sport earbuds, which transform earbuds from a simple exercise accessory to an essential component of your workout – quite literally. Sennheiser MOMENTUM Sport Earbuds are priced at Rs. 27,990. It comes in Polar Black, Burned Olive, and Metallic Graphite shades and is now available with two years of warranty. The buds are selling via Amazon, Flipkart, and Sennheiser webshop.

Sennheiser MOMENTUM Sport Earbuds: Features
MOMENTUM Sport integrates a PPG Heart Rate Sensor and a body temperature sensor to give critical data to popular fitness apps and devices. The power of Sennheiser Sound is optimized for sports and supercharged with real-time performance tracking data feedback for workouts. The inner ear being an optimal, dark location with a low degree of light pollution, is one of the most stable areas of the body during physical activities. Thus, MOMENTUM Sport offers consistent performance tracking data, even during peak workouts.
In-ear temperature measurements are also more accurate than wrist-skin readings. Users can closely monitor their body temperature within +/- 0.3 degrees Celsius accuracy to avoid heart-related fatigue that could occur when exceeding the optimum target range for a workout.
The wearer can also observe their heartbeats per minute from 30 to 220 bpm all while enjoying their favorite playlist. There are three-axis accelerometers plus capacitive touch and infrared sensors that work together to manage audio playback and call features using simple finger-tap gestures. Tap gestures work no matter what the weather is. Even if one is wearing gloves, he/she can double tap on the cheek to pause a track.

MOMENTUM Sport’s heart rate data is compatible with a variety of popular sports devices and apps such as Garmin Watch/Connect, Apple Watch/Health, Strava, and others for seamless integration. For the first time ever, in a non-Polar product, users will be able to access Polar’s elite biosensing data capabilities and data analytics ecosystem by using Polar Flow as a training app. The features of MOMENTUM Sport encompass training analytics, expert-tier performance tracking, smart coaching, and voice guidance. Real-time connection of in-ear PPG and temperature sensors provides immediate insights. Additionally, the Polar Vantage V3 multisport watch will offer seamless integration of advanced performance tracking data. All you have to do is connect MOMENTUM Sport and start training to see real-time updates directly to the watch.
Sennheiser offers an all-new 10mm transducer in MOMENTUM Sport. The buds mitigate the occlusion effect with an acoustic relief channel including air ventilation. The semi-open design also offers environmental awareness to stay alert with additional and selectable Transparency mode, Anti-wind mode, and adaptive noise canceling mode. It operates over Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity with support for aptX adaptive, AAC, and SBC codecs.
The buds can be controlled using the Sennheiser Smart Control app for iOS and Android. It is IP55 rated for sweat and water resistance along with a shock-proof chassis and clog-resistant ear tips. MOMENTUM Sport buds come with a selection of interchangeable ear fins and ear tips for a personalized, secure fit that stays comfortable. The case is also IP54-rated and offers a playback time of 24 hours. The buds themselves offer a playback time of six hours. With 10 minutes of charging, buds will offer a playback time of 1 hour.
