Sony Bravia X80K Series with Processor X1 launched in India

Sony has launched the new Bravia X80K smart TV series in India. The line-up comprises TVs in five different sizes all equipped with X1 4K HDR picture processors and runs on Google TV. The sizes of the new Bravia X80K TVs include 75-inch, 65-inch, 55-inch, 50-inch, and 43-inch.

Sony Bravia X80K Prices and Availability

For now, Sony has only announced the price of the Bravia X80K 55-inch model which will retail for Rs 94,990 starting May 20 onwards. The company is expected to reveal prices and availability details of other models in the coming days.

Sony Bravia X80K series Features

The Sony Bravia X80K series of smart TVs are built with LCD panels offering a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and a refresh rate of 50Hz. For picture processing, the Bravia X80K lineup is equipped with X1 4K HDR processor supporting standards like 4K X-Reality Pro, Triluminos Pro, Live Colour technology, HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision.

The new Bravia TV series packs dual full-range 10W X-balanced speakers for an uncompromisable sound experience. All the models support Dolby Audio, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Digital Surround audio formats. For gaming enthusiasts, HDMI 2.1 compatibility is provided with some advanced modes including Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Auto HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Genre Picture Mode.

The X80K lineup runs on the Google TV platform to provide the native Android TV experience. The TVs also support Apple AirPlay and Apple HomeKit to connect with iPhones and iPad tablets. It offers a built-in Chromecast, Google Assistant for voice command, Google Play Store for apps, and Alexa support.

The Bravia TV has a slim thickness with narrow bezels all around. The TV sports a Bravia Cam supporting gesture control and video chat features with Google Duo.
