Sony HT-G700 Soundbar Launched with Dolby Atmos for Rs 39,990

Sony HT-G700 Soundbar that was announced in the US recently is now officially launched in India. This latest soundbar from Sony delivers three channels output from the bar itself and has a subwoofer on its side.

The Sony HT-G700 soundbar can deliver up to 400W of sound output with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support for an immersive cinematic surround sound experience. It ships with a dedicated remote control that has a button labelled Immersive AE to upscale the non-Dolby Atmos feed. It also has a button to toggle between the various audio presents.

The Sound Bar comes with an Optical-audio input, a USB type-A port, 1 HDMI output with eARC and 1 HDMI input that supports passthrough for up to 4K at 60Hz videos. It has Bluetooth 5 for wireless connectivity but it lacks WiFi which is a bummer.

SONY HT-G700 Price in India, availability

The Sony HT-G700 Soundbar price in India is set at Rs 39,990. If you compare it to the global pricing it is cheaper in India by approx Rs 5,000.

It will be available in India from July 29, 2020 onwards. It will retail at Sony retail stores and all major e-commerce websites in India.
