“Festive season is the time when consumers upgrade their homes with newer and smarter technologies. We are witnessing high demand for large screen premium televisions, even the attachment ratio of televisions with soundbars has been on an upswing and PlayStation has emerged as a center stage of home and entertainment. Personal audio devices such as headphones and Bluetooth speakers have also seen a high uptake and all this demand is induced by the newly developed stay-at-home, work\learn from home culture. The rapidly emerging vlogging and the live streaming trend have led to a surge in growth for the camera segment. It is not just the pent-up demand but organic sales which driving the market. India is a highly sentiment-driven country and we can expect a big boom across all product categories for Sony India during the festive season,” said Sunil Nayyar, Managing Director at Sony India.
