Why is PS5 Pro not coming to India anytime soon?

Sony India has announced that the PS5 Pro features WiFi 7 connectivity and thus will not launch in India anytime soon. This is because India has not received support for the 6GHz wireless band needed by WiFi 7. It has not been allowed in India as of now.
This regulatory hurdle has led to a setback for Indian gamers who were eager to lay their hands on the PS5 Pro. Sony hasn’t even provided details about any possible workaround or alternative India launch timeline as of now. If the 6GHz band gets approved in India, PS5 Pro might start rolling out in the country as well. For now, Indian PlayStation users will have to settle for PS5 only.
