Sony has been a known name in the headphone industry for quite some time. With the audio industry increasingly taking the wireless route, the demand for better wireless headphones has increased. Understanding this scenario, Sony has pushed the envelope of wireless headphones and launched a low priced active noise canceling headphone with claimed 35 hours of battery life.

Sony WH-CH700N Wireless Headphone Features

This new headphone has a circumaural design with soft oval earpads to comfortably fit around your ears. These earcups can be swiveled for better portability. Sony WH-CH700N sports 40mm drivers that allow the headphone to pump deeper bass and a wider range of frequencies.

Often high-frequency components of the music is lost while compressing them to lighter audio formats. The Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) present in these headphones restore those intricate high-frequency details lost during compression and enhance the richness of the music. This targets close to original rendition.

These headphones can be connected to the Sony Headphones Connect app which allows you to easily adjust your audio levels and select from a wide range of customizable equalizer settings. The Virtualphones Technology (VPT) present in this app lets you simulate various ambient scenarios like an outdoor stage, club, hall or arena style sound.

This Sony wireless headphone has Google Assistant embedded in, which should ease the process of controlling the audio device. It does support NFC which should come in handy while pairing a supported smartphone.

WH_CH700N wireless headset couples Artificial Intelligence with Noise Canceling to analyze the surrounding noise and automatically adjusts the music for optimal output. This AINC feature can be triggered by a button placed on the bottom of the left earcup.

Sony claims 35 hours of battery backup, but the charging time of 7 hours is a bit steep. On the upside, a quick 10-minute charge should give you enough juice to last for around one hour of playtime.

Sony WH-CH700N Price and Availability

These new Sony headphones are available in three color options: Black, Grey, and Blue. The Sony WH-CH700N comes with a price tag of Rs.12,990 and can be purchased from all Sony stores and major electronics stores from today.
