Special Ops Season 2: Streaming Date & Platform
The second season of Special Ops will now be released on the 18th of July, and similar to the first season, it will stream on the JioHotstar OTT platform. The show has been delayed by a week, moving from this Friday to next Friday.

The actor took to Instagram to share a video announcing the new streaming date for Special Ops 2.
“To all Special Ops fans, the second season will now stream on July 18 instead of July 11. It’s just one more week. I know it’s a bit more waiting, but some things are beyond our control. Don’t worry, all episodes will be available on July 18.”
Will this affect the response?
The first question that comes to mind when one hears about postponement is whether this wait of one more week will affect the response to the show. Frankly, I feel it might have a positive impact on the ratings of the show as it would be available for binge consumption with all episodes dropping together and July 11 week is crowded with releases like Head of State, The hunt, Aap Jaisa Koi, and regional movie Kaliyugam, whereas 18th July offers more breathing space with only Vir Das Fool Volume releasing.

Special Ops Season 2: Cast & Crew
The 2nd season marks the return of Kay Kay Menon as Himmat Singh along with Vinay Pathak, Parmeet Sethi, Kali Prasad Mukherjee, Dalip Tahil, Gautami Kapoor, Tota Roy Chowdhury, and Arif Zakaria. The new additions include Prakash Raj, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saiyami Kher, Muzamil Ibrahim, Vikkas Manaktala, Shikha Talsania, and more.
The show has been directed by Neeraj Pandey and Shivam Nair, with Benazir Ali Fida, Deepak Kingrani, and Neeraj Pandey acting as writers.

This time around, the war for Special Ops 2 is about humans vs technology. There is a silent threat, and only Himmat Singh and his team might have a solution to this big problem. This time, battles are more silent but even more dangerous, and the cost of every decision feels heavier. It will be faster-paced and grittier than the previous one.
