The brand is set to make a significant entry into the electric vehicle segment in India with the impending launch of its first electric car, the Enyaq iV. Anticipated to hit the Indian market by March 2024, the Enyaq iV has already been spotted multiple times without any camouflage, building anticipation for its debut.

Skoda Enyaq Electric SUV Expected Features

Team-Bhp recently spotted the upcoming Skoda Enyaq, known as the Enyaq iV, cruising on Indian roads. This electric vehicle is expected to make its debut in the Indian market around March 2024. Built on the dedicated MEB electric platform by the Volkswagen Group, the Enyaq offers five global variants, with the Enyaq 85 anticipated for the Indian market. In a separate update, a video showcased a modified 2023 Hyundai Verna sedan with a sharp body kit, adding an extra element of excitement to the automotive landscape.

The Enyaq 85 is set to be equipped with an 82kWh battery pack and a single-motor rear-wheel drive configuration, boasting an impressive output of around 282bhp. Accelerating from 0 to 100kmph in just 6.7 seconds, it offers a claimed range of approximately 565 kilometers (WLTP Cycle). Additionally, its fast-charging capability allows it to charge from 10-80% in a mere 28 minutes, providing swift and efficient charging solutions.

In the competitive Indian market, the Enyaq 85 is poised to directly rival electric vehicles such as Hyundai’s Ioniq5 and Kia’s EV6. Boasting Skoda’s distinctive grille design, the Enyaq exhibits sharp and aggressive-looking headlamps and taillamps. Its striking appearance is complemented by large aerodynamic alloy wheels, and it features dimensions measuring 4648x1877x1618mm, with a substantial wheelbase of 2765mm.

Featuring an array of advanced technologies, the Enyaq ensures a futuristic driving experience. The driver’s seat incorporates a 5.3-inch digital display along with a cutting-edge Heads-Up Display (HUD) employing Augmented Reality (AR) technology. The central infotainment screen is expansive at 15 inches, taking advantage of the spacious cabin facilitated by the extended wheelbase of the platform. With a generous boot space of 585 litres, the Enyaq offers substantial storage capacity. Safety is a priority with up to nine airbags, and the vehicle is equipped with various driver assistance and connected-car technologies.
