Swift Sport With 155 PS Of Power?

However, Suzuki isn’t planning to stop there. The company reportedly plans to launch the fourth-generation Swift Sport in 2026 with a 48V mild-hybrid setup, adding another 15 PS of power and 59 Nm of torque to the powertrain.
While the vehicle’s performance should benefit from the hybrid setup, its fuel efficiency should also see some improvements. In fact, this could be the same model that was spied on the Indian roads in November 2024.
The Swift Sport Won’t Fit The Indian Market’s Competitive Demands
The vehicle continues to have the same look and feel, but the difference in the performance of the Indian model, when compared to the Swift Sport, is quite drastic. Nonetheless, the vehicle could launch in Japan in 2026, and there’s no sign of its arrival in India.

Given that the current generation Swift costs between Rs. 6.49 and Rs. 9.49 lakhs in India, the Swift Sport, which starts at twice the price of the base variant, will be a misfit for the Indian market. As a result, the dream of seeing a swift Swift in India will remain a dream, at least for the foreseeable future.
