The Indian automaker Tata Motors has confirmed the launch date on November 25, 2025. We mentioned in our article about the upcoming car launches in November that Tata could pull the covers off the Sierra ICE, and it’s happening before December starts.

Tata Sierra India Launch Date

Tata Motors will launch the new Sierra in India on November 25, 2025, placing the mid-sized SUV between the Curvv and the Harrier. The company is expected to unveil the Sierra ICE versions first, powered by petrol and diesel engines, followed by the Sierra EV.

Tata Sierra Powertrain & Features

With the Sierra petrol, Tata Motors could also unveil its new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine. Meanwhile, the lower trims of the vehicle could be powered by a NA petrol engine. Meanwhile, the diesel powertrain could use the 1.5-liter diesel engine also seen on Curvv. All petrol and diesel engines should be paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed DCT.

Among the key features of the Sierra SUV could be a boxy design, aggressive cladding all around the vehicle, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a three-screen setup similar to what we’ve seen on the XEV 9e, with each module featuring a 12.3-inch screen. Additional features could include a dual-tone dashboard, a four-spoke steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, six airbags, a 360-degree camera system, and Level 2 ADAS.

The baseline Tata Sierra petrol could start at an introductory price of around Rs. 11 lakhs (ex-showroom), while the baseline diesel could start at Rs. 13 lakhs (ex-showroom). The turbo-petrol powertrain could also begin around the same price as the base-specced version.
