TCL C8 4K smart TVs with 55-inches and 65-inches Screen Launched

TCL has started the year 2020 in India with the launch of C8 smart TVs. TCL has been expanding its 4K smart TV portfolio rapidly and the C8 series comes close on the heels of the recent P8 TV series.

TCL C8 Prices and availability

The TCL C8 smart TVs has been launched in two screen sizes – 55-inch and 65-inch. The TCL C8 55-inch TV India price is set at Rs 49,990, while the 65-inch TV costs Rs 69,990. The company is yet to reveal the availability details of the range.

TCL C8 Features

TCL continues to back the Android TV platform as its C8 series based on Android 9 Pie software. Both 55-inch and 65-inch variants of the TCL C8 smart TVs will have Google Assistant where it can recognize voice using a far-field microphone.

The new TCL TVs come with proprietary Wide Colour Gamut (WCG) tech and Adobe’s Dolby Vision support. As per TCL, the C8 smart TVs can deliver with 90 percent wide color gamut with natural shades. The TVs also support HDR 10 out-of-the-box. Both smart TVs also feature MEMC, paired with the company’s proprietary algorithm to deliver enhanced details.

TCL has packed a dual-core processor and dual-core GPU in both variants. As for connectivity, both these TVs support Wi-Fi 802.11ac, multiple HDMI & USB ports, and regular antenna port. For audio connectivity, there’s S/PDIF digital audio optical as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack. Both TVs also include Onkyo speakers.
