Tecno Phantom 9 Listed On Flipkart, Launch on July 10

Update:  The Tecno Phantom 9 teaser page went live on Flipkart but was promptly pulled down. The upcoming Tecno phone will go official on July 10 (i.e, tomorrow) globally and will retail exclusively on Flipkart in India.

Teaser images reveal triple rear cameras (16MP + 2MP + 8MP) and dual flash for the front camera.

Tecno Phantom 9 is awaiting its July 10 global launch date. Phantom series represents the company’s premium proposal. Thanks to a recently posted teaser video, we already know of its dot notch display, triple rear cameras and more. Adding to this, we have spotted the device at Android Enterprise Directory with a few more key details.

The image above shows a few specs of the phone such as 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, Android 9 Pie OS, and a 6.4-inch display. Notably, this display has an under-display fingerprint scanner embedded within.

In the teaser video, we see the phone in its Lapland Aurora Crystal Clear design. This is a gradient aesthetic found in many other phones of recent times. It has arched edges, dot-notch, very svelte bezels, all of which delivers a 6.4-inched panel.

It is rumored to be powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset with Android Pie based HiOS. The software experience could be backed by AI-based voice assistant and language support.

Coming to optics, the phone brags a 120-degree wide-angle shooter as well as its caliber in macro photography. In total, we have a triple camera set up at the back with a LED flash. Well, how well do they fare is something to be tested upon launch.

Speaking of India launch, we could expect the phone to arrive in India under Rs. 15,000.
