Tech giant Tecno has launched its first foldable smartphone in the country. Tecno Phantom V Fold has gone official in India with a book-like design, 2 AMOLED displays, and MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset. The foldable was first showcased during the MWC 2023 in February this year and now it will finally be available for purchase in the Indian market. The foldable will be available in an early bird sale from April 12th via Amazon India. During the sale, the Tecno Phantom V Fold will be up for grabs for Rs. 77,777 on Amazon India. It has been launched in 2 colorways-black and white.
Tecno Phantom V Fold: Design & Specifications
The Tecno Phantom V Fold comes with a book-like design that is somewhat similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series. It is made of aerospace material and has been tested for over 200,000 folds.
The foldable is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB onboard storage. It runs a custom HiOS-based Android 13 OS and packs a 5000mAh battery under the hood with 45W fast charging tech.
In terms of camera optics, Tecno Phantom V Fold sports a triple camera setup at the back including a 50MP primary, 13MP ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto lens. The front has a 16MP selfie camera. The device sports a 6.42-inch FHD+ AMOLED outer display panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a foldable 7.65-inch 2K AMOLED panel with a high refresh rate.
