Tile Bluetooth tracker has officially launched in India starting at Rs. 2499

Brand Eyes Distributors Pvt. Ltd. launches the Tile Bluetooth-based tracker in India. For those who don’t know, Tile is a global brand that specializes in tracing the everyday items that go missing. This ranges from Laptop to car keys to a wallet. It boasts more than 15 million trackers sold and 4 million unique items located every day globally.

Tile: How does it work?

Tile Mate sports a Bluetooth range of 150 feet. It has replaceable batteries with a guaranteed one-year lifespan.

If you own a Tile, download the app on your iOS or Android device, and then simply pair your Tile to your device using Bluetooth. Once that’s done, follow these steps –

1. Ring your Tile. The Tile Mate features four preset ringtones which can ring at loud volumes, even if the object is mute.
2. View your Tile’s last known location on the map
3. Enable “Notify when found” to enlist the power of your community

Then there is Tile Premium service, which as the name indicates brings a slew of additional features that enhances the scope and experience of tracking. Precisely, these are the features unlocked –

• Smart Alerts – Tile has always helped customers find their missing items, but now with Smart Alerts, Tile helps Premium subscribers take a proactive approach to keeping track of their belongings. Subscribers can set up alerts to be notified when they leave home without specific Tiled items, saving precious time for today’s busy lifestyle. Smart Alerts is launching in Beta.

• Unlimited Sharing – Multiple Tile users can now manage the same Tile device making it easier to track shared items, like the living room remote. All shared users can ring the Tile when within Bluetooth range and view the “Last Place Seen” to help find lost items.

• Location History – Customers can now view the 30-day location history of each of their Tile devices. This is the longest offering of location history available today. The ability to access where a Tile has been enabled users to retrace their steps to find lost items.
