TL; DR
- Tim Cook confirms the launch of a new ‘Air’ product via an X post.
The post should be about the most-anticipated M4 MacBook Air.
Last year, Apple launched the M3 MacBook Air on March 4, 2024.
Earlier today, we reported on how the new MacBook Air could come out this week, and now, Cook has confirmed a product launch. In a post on the microblogging platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Apple’s CEO Tim Cook has teased the launch of a new product “this week.”

2025 MacBook Air Launch Likely On March 4
The post contains a short video with the words “There’s something in the Air.” Given the plethora of reports that have surfaced in the recent past, we believe (and are almost sure) that the post is about the new M4 MacBook Air.
Toward the end of the video, an animation slashes the word “Air” (in uppercase) in the middle, from the screen’s left to right. This could be a hint toward the thin profile of the upcoming M4 MacBook Air, which, by the way, isn’t expected to arrive with many physical changes. Like last year, the new MacBook will be available in two sizes: 13-inch and 15-inch.

Last year, the M3 MacBook Air came out on March 4, 2024. Based on the available information, we believe that Apple might launch the notebook through a press release on March 4, 2025.
Apple Might Launch A New iPad Air As Well
The cryptic teaser contains the word “Air,” which is associated with the MacBook and iPad lineup. While a new MacBook is among the most-anticipated devices, Apple has been working on new iPad Air models as well.
Hence, it might not happen the same day, but we should see new iPad Air models drop sometime soon. Regarding the iPhone ‘Air’ model, it is a bit too early in 2025 for Apple to reveal it.
