Upcoming Car Launches In October 2025
2025 Mahindra Bolero / Bolero Neo
Launch Date: Early October (Expected)
Soon, the Indian automaker Mahindra will launch an updated version of the Bolero and the Bolero Neo. Both vehicles will come with some cosmetic changes (likely more prominent on the Neo), along with a handful of new features and a few interior additions.
The Bolero Neo could get a new grille design, tweaked bumpers, and a revised interior upholstery. Additionally, Mahindra could equip it with new features to enhance the comfort and premiumness of the cabin, aligning the vehicle with the automaker’s latest offerings.
Under the hood, all three vehicles in the Bolero lineup are likely to feature the same engines. For instance, the Bolero will feature a 1.5-liter diesel engine (76hp, five-speed manual transmission), the Bolero Neo will get a 1.5-liter diesel engine (100hp, five-speed manual transmission), and the Bolero Neo+ will ship with the 120hp 2.2-liter diesel engine (120hp, six-speed manual transmission).

2025 Mahindra Thar 3-Door

Launch Date: Early October (Expected)
One of Mahindra’s most successful products, the three-door Thar is set to receive a refresh with exterior and interior updates. The SUV could get C-shaped DRLs with a new grille, dual-tone front and rear bumpers, a larger 10.25-inch infotainment screen (with reverse parking camera), and a new three-spoke steering wheel. However, don’t expect any mechanical changes under the hood.
Like the outgoing model, the 2025 Mahindra Thar 3-Door will retain the 2-liter turbo-petrol engine, the 1.5-liter turbo-diesel engine, and the 2.2-liter turbo-diesel engine, all mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed torque converter unit on the automatic versions.

Nissan C-SUV
Launch Date: October 7, 2025 (Expected)
Nissan is gearing up to announce its new mid-sized C-segment SUV. Reports suggest that the company will announce this vehicle on October 7, 2025, with it hitting the roads in early 2026. In recent times, several outlets have spotted this vehicle on the streets, and we’ve come to learn that it will be based on the new-generation Renault Duster.
Nissan’s upcoming C-segment SUV will compete directly with established models like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. It goes without saying, but if the company wants to rival with some of the most popular mid-sized SUVs in the country, it better offer the right balance between affordability, utility, and price.

Mini Countryman JCW

Launch Date: October 14, 2025
Mini India, the subsidiary of Mini (owned by BMW), is set to unveil the Mini Countryman John Cooper Works (JCW) ALL4 on October 14, 2025. The high-performance small car should be equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine that produces 300bhp of power and 400 Nm of peak torque, reaching from zero to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds.
The powerful engine is mated with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) that sends power to all four wheels of the vehicle. Moreover, the car features a sportier design, with a blacked-out front grille, larger air inlets at the front, and red-colored brake calipers. Pre-bookings for the vehicle have been underway since late September.
The expected price of the 4.2-meter SUV could be around Rs. 50 lakhs (ex-showroom); we’ll get to know the official pricing on October 14, 2025.

Skoda Octavia RS
Launch Date: October 17, 2025
After years, Skoda is bringing back its performance sedan: the Octavia RS. For now, the company is only importing 100 cars into the country, which shouldn’t be challenging to sell, given the newfound love of performance sedans in the country, especially among young buyers.
The Skoda Octavia RS will run on the 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine, which generates 261bhp power and 370Nm of peak torque, and is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (what Skoda calls DSG transmission). This particular combination can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds. The vehicle deliveries will commence on November 6, 2025.
Citroen Aircross X

Launch Date: October 2025
Citroen is planning to release an X update for the Aircross. While most of the specifications of the outgoing model will be carried forward to the Aircross X, it is likely to receive an updated feature set, including a new colorway, all-LED lighting (both inside and out), ventilated front seats, fresh interiors, and a 360-degree camera.
Under the hood, the Aircross X will feature a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 82hp of peak power (paired with a five-speed manual gearbox) and a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine that produces 110hp of peak power (paired with a six-speed manual or six-speed torque converter unit).
2025 Hyundai Venue

Launch Date: Mid to Late October 2025 (Expected)
According to an Autocar report, Hyundai will unveil the 2025 Venue facelift on October 24, 2025. The sub-4 meter SUV is about to undergo significant exterior and interior changes, but its underpinnings are expected to remain largely unchanged.
Spy shots of the next-generation Hyundai Venue suggest that the vehicle will feature a split headlamp arrangement with vertical LED DRLs and a rectangular grille on the front. Furthermore, the car could feature new 16-inch alloy wheels and a redesigned connected tail lamp arrangement at the rear.
Under the hood, Hyundai’s popular SUV will retain the three engine options it has had so far. We’re talking about a 1.2-liter naturally-aspirated engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission, a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine (we’ve seen the engine on the Kia Syros and the i20 N-Line), and a 1.5-liter diesel engine.
There’s a good chance that the Korean automaker will announce the vehicle in the second or third week of October, and then reveal the vehicle’s prices in late October.
