The Indian car market is all geared up for a spectacular lift as several carmakers plan to launch their models in the weeks ahead. There is a lineup ranging from high-end luxury cars and coupe SUVs to performance-oriented off-roaders in the list of next years car launches. Below are some of the most eagerly awaited car launches that have been targeted to launch next in India within the next one month.

BMW 5 Series EWB

The German carmaker is gearing up to unveil the latest 2024 version of BMW 5 series in India which is also going to introduce the LWB or the long-wheelbase version to rival the Mercedes E-Class LWB. On the exterior part, there is seemly and self-illuminated kidney-girle, stylishly-shaped headlights and powerful-looking angular bumpers. It provides features like 18- and 19-inch wheels, a v-shaped rooftop, and a sporty backline. The interior comes with a 14.9 touch screen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12.3-inch driver’s display is available along with a four-zone climate control and ambient lighting option. The 530Li M Sport comes with a 2-litre twin-turbo petrol power and a 48V mild-hybrid system developing 208 hp and 330 Nm mated with 8-speed sport automatic transmission. Also, BMW will launch the enhanced Mini Cooper S and the electric version of Mini Countryman.
Mahindra Thar Roxx

Mahindra has been waiting for a long time to unveil the long-awaited 5-door Thar Roxx, which will enter the Indian market on August 15, 2024, offering a more versatile model to the public. The Thar Roxx teaser shows the exposed RHD target, new six vertically-stacked double slat grille, projector headlamps with integrated C-shaped DRLs, stylish fog lamps, and new diamond-cut alloy wheels. Some spy shots reveal tall uncovered rear handles, which point towards vertically stacked door handles and ORVM cams which likely indicate a 360-degree surround-view system. The Thar Roxx will offer three engine options: 2.0-litre turbo petrol, 2.2-litre diesel, and 1.5-litre diesel, with options for manual and automated transmission, rear-wheel as well as four-wheel drive.
Nissan X-Trail

Nissan is planning to relaunch X-Trail SUV in India and the car is expected to hit the market shortly. The upcoming seven-seater model, developed on the Renault-Nissan CMF-C platform, includes dual-LED headlamps, a giant grille, huge 20-inch wheels and LED tail lamps. It will be powered by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with 163 hp and torquer 300 Nm along with the 12V mild-hybrid setup and a CVT transmission system.

Citroen Basalt

The coupe SUV, Basalt from Citroen, an auto manufacturer from France is expected to be unleashed to the market in the first part of August. The Citroen Basalt built upon the C3 Aircross is more sophisticated having a coupe look roofline, a two line chrome grille, silver front skid plate, sharp LED headlamps, dual tone alloy wheels, rear spoiler integrated, and wraparound LED tail lamps giving it an LCV look. It is expected to have a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine developing approximately 110 hp and 205 Nm of torque on offer with manual or automatic transmission. Interior features may include a 10.2-inch touchscreen, digital driver’s display, six airbags, wireless charging, automatic climate control, push-button start.
