As the monsoon season brings refreshing rains, smartphone brands are set to shower the market with exciting new releases. Following a series of launches in July, August will bring more devices from brands like Motorola, Google, vivo, and OPPO. If you’re planning to upgrade your phone this month, here’s a detailed look at the most anticipated smartphones launching in August 2025.
1. Motorola G86 Power

Motorola is gearing up to launch the Moto G86 Power 5G, a mid-range smartphone under ₹20,000. The phone is expected to feature a similar design to that of the Edge series. It will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset (a rebranded Dimensity 7300 for India), a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 6,720mAh battery.
The rear camera system will include a 50MP main sensor with OIS, and the front will have a 32MP selfie camera. The phone will offer IP68 water resistance and MIL-STD 810H certification. It will be launching on July 30.

2. Google Pixel 10 Series
Google will announce the Pixel 10 lineup on August 20. Four models will be introduced: Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The Pixel 10 will include a 50MP main sensor, 12MP ultrawide, and a 10.8MP periscope lens with 5X zoom. It will run on the Tensor G5 chip, feature a 6.3-inch OLED display, 12GB RAM, and a 4,970mAh battery with Android 16.

The Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL will offer 16GB RAM, and triple rear cameras including 50MP main + 48MP telephoto + 48MP ultrawide. The Pro Fold model will use a 6.4-inch outer display, 5,015mAh battery, and support 23W wired and 15W wireless charging. It is also said to come with IP68 rating, a first for a foldable. Expected prices: ₹79,999 (Pixel 10), ₹90,600 (Pro), ₹1,17,700 (Pro XL), and ₹1,79,999 (Pro Fold).

3. vivo V60
vivo will release the vivo V60 on August 12. It will likely be a rebranded version of the vivo S30 from China. The phone will feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display at 120Hz, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W charging. The camera system will include a 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide, and a 50MP 3X periscope lens. The device is expected to be priced between ₹37,000 and ₹40,000.

4. vivo T4R
The vivo T4R will launch in India on July 31, with sales starting in August. It will have a quad-curved design measuring 7.39mm thick. The phone will likely use the Dimensity 7400 chipset and feature a punch-hole AMOLED display. It will carry an IP68/IP69 rating and dual rear cameras. The price range is expected to be ₹15,000–₹20,000.

5. vivo Y400 5G
The vivo Y400 5G will be positioned as a budget device under ₹20,000. It may include a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, a 50MP main rear sensor, and a 5,500mAh battery. The phone will launch in at least two colors: Olive Green and Glam White. We can expect the launch by the first week of August.

6. OPPO K13 Turbo & K13 Turbo Pro
OPPO will introduce the K13 Turbo series in early August. The K13 Turbo will run on the Dimensity 8450 chipset, while the K13 Turbo Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Both phones will come with a 120Hz flat OLED display, up to 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, and a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

The rear setup will consist of a 50MP primary and a 2MP secondary sensor, with a 16MP front camera. The phones will also include an internal cooling fan with RGB lighting. IPX6/IPX8/IPX9 ratings are confirmed. Pricing in China: ₹21,600 (Turbo), ₹24,000 (Pro).
