Upcoming Xiaomi and Meitu phone will have Asus 6Z Like rotating flip camera, poster leaks

Last year, Xiaomi had entered into a strategic partnership with Meitu. This granted the former an exclusive global license to use the Meitu brand name and global license of certain technologies and domain names. Now, a new phone from this joint entity surfaces in Weibo under the moniker- Little Fairy.

Now, this looks similar to Asus Zenfone 6, which just landed in India under the name- Asus 6Z. Although such flip up mechanisms is not new, Asus 6Z brought rotating motorized camera module into the mainstream.

It seems that the flip panel on this phone has three sensors with a LED flash. We are yet to know the specifics of this camera setup. Asus 6Z (review), on the other hand, has dual cameras- a 48MP (f/1.79) primary camera with a 13MP wide-angle shooter. Give it a second look and you might find it similar to Huawei Mate 20 Pro’s (review) cameras as well.

Going with the trend, we could expect this upcoming phone to ride the 48MP camera bandwagon. If it goes this route, then like the Asus 6Z, you could expect an impressive selfie game from it.
