Tech giant Vivo recently launched the Vivo V27 Series and Vivo Y100 smartphone last month and now the brand seems to be gearing up for the launch of the Vivo T2 Series of smartphones. As the name suggests, Vivo T2 is the successor to the Vivo T1 Series that came to the country last year. The Vivo T1 Series included Vivo T1 5G, Vivo T1 Pro, Vivo T1 44W, and Vivo T1x smartphones and now there are details about what the Vivo T2 Series will entail

Vivo T2 Series: India Launch Timeline

The Vivo T2 Series is expected to arrive in India around mid-April and at the beginning, it will have 2 devices, both priced under Rs. 20,000. One of these devices is expected to be the most affordable 5G smartphone by Vivo.

Vivo T2 Series Expected specs

Although the names of the devices in the Vivo T2 Series are unclear, the smartphones are said to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity and Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. The Google Play Console listing claims that the Vivo T2 5G has the model number V2222. It will also have a waterdrop notch for a selfie lens, FHD+ pixel resolution, Snapdragon 695 chipset 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage. The vanilla variant is said to run Android 13 out of the box.

The Console listing for Vivo T2x indicated that it will have the model number V2225. This also revealed the phone’s design with a waterdrop notch to house the selfie snapper. There will be an FHD+ display, 8GB RAM, and Android 13 OS. The Vivo T2x will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset which will make it the cheapest phone in India if priced right.
