Vivo has launched the next in its V-Series in the country. The Vivo V50 5G smartphone has arrived in India as the successor to the Vivo V40 that came out in 2024. This time, Vivo has not launched the Pro version alongside the vanilla variant. Vivo V50 Pro might roll out in the coming months. Vivo V50 5G has a stunning design and promises to offer good performance, camera capabilities,s and AI features too. vivo V50 5G: Price & Availability

Vivo V50

Vivo V50 5G comes in following storage configurations-

  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage-Rs. 34,999
  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage-Rs. 36,999
  • 12GB RAM+512GB storage-Rs. 40,999

It will be available in Starry Night, Rose Red, and Titanium Grey shades. The smartphone will be available via Flipkart, Vivo India website, and offline stores starting 25th February 2025. Pre-booking has started today. Vivo TWS 3e will be available for Rs. 1499 with Vivo V50 5G.

vivo V50 5G: Specifications

Vivo V50 5G flaunts a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 4500 nits brightness, 387PPI, VM7 light emitting material, and P3 wide color gamut support. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB UFS 2.2 storage onboard.

In terms of camera, there is a 50MP main a 50MP wide-angle camera at the back, and a 50MP super-wide angle camera at the front. Aura Ring Light switches itself on when portrait mode is used and claims to improve photos in low-light or dark conditions. The main camera at the back supports portrait, night, micro movie, high resolution, panorama, Ultra HD document, timelapse, super moon, Astro, and more capabilities. There are in-built filters and Bokeh modes to choose from so that photos come out as one wants them to.

Vivo V50

Under the hood, Vivo V50 5G packs a 6000mAh battery with 90W wired charging support. It is a lithium-ion battery so Vivo has still not bumped it to a silicon carbon powerhouse. The smartphone runs Android 15-based FunTouch OS 15 out of the box which supports various AI features too.

It is IP68 and IP69 rated for being water and dust-resistant. The dimensions and weight of each color variant are different from each other Titanium Grey measures 16.239×7.672×0.739cm and weighs 189 grams. Rose Red measures 16.329×7.672×0.757cm and weighs 199 grams. Starry Night measures 16.329×7.672×0.767cm and weighs 199 grams.

In terms of connectivity, Vivo V50 supports nine 5G bands, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, OTG, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and NavIC.
