After the launch of the Vivo X-Fold and Vivo X-Fold+, Vivo seems to be gearing up for its next foldable smartphone. Vivo X Flip has been shown off in several renders revealed by tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. The renders reveal that it can be Vivo’s first clamshell foldable that is expected to pack Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The foldable is expected to arrive in the home country China in early 2023.

The images shared by the tipster show an external rectangular display below a multi-camera cutout. There is a four-camera setup, triple LED flash, and Zeiss branding for the camera. The camera cutout is shown to be round. Below the camera module is a rectangular-shaped cover display and the right edge has a volume rocker and a power key.

Vivo X Flip: Expected specs

Though apart from the chipset nothing has been confirmed about the specs of the foldable, reports claim that it will feature premium specs and might come with upgrades over other foldables by the brand.

In related news, Vivo is expected to launch the Vivo S16e, S16, and S16 Pro smartphones in China this month. The phones will be powered by different chipsets and fall in the mid-range category.
