Vivo X Fold 3 Pro Confirmed to Arrive in India on June 6: Checkout Expected Features, Price & More inside

The foldable smartphone market in India has been growing rapidly in the last few years. 2023 saw various foldables making their way to India. The list includes the likes of the OnePlus Open, Oppo Find N2 Flip, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, Moto Razr 40 Ultra, Moto Razr 40, and more. Now, Vivo is about to join the trend with the launch of its first-ever foldable in the country. Vivo has confirmed that Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is arriving in India on 6th June.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro: Launch Date Confirmed

Vivo India shared the news via its official X handle, thus confirming the launch date of the device. The post reads, “Meet the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. This is more than just another fold phone. This is India’s best fold ever. It’s slimmer, lighter, brighter, bigger, and more powerful than any other fold phone you’ve seen before. Stay tuned”. Along with the caption is a teaser video towards the end of which the launch date can be seen.

Vivo had earlier confirmed the news via its microsite, post which the official announcement came through X.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro: Expected Specs

Initially announced in March 2023, Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will be the first foldable by the brand to launch outside China. The Indian version is expected to have the same specs as the global counterpart. Various leaks and rumors have tipped what we can expect from Vivo’s first foldable in the country.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is expected to be the first to have a Carbon Fibre Keel Component in its hinge mechanism. This will ensure that the device is lightweight and portable along with being durable. Testing reports claim it will be able to endure 500,000 folds equal to about 12 years of reliable use.

The X Fold 3 Pro will have dual displays including an 8.03-inch inner LTPO AMOLED folding panel and a 6,53-inch cover display. The displays are said to support 120Hz refresh rate, 2480×2200 pixel resolutions, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support along with maximum brightness of 4500 nits.

A teaser shared by the company confirms its partnership with Zeiss for camera setup along with highlighting how it will be sleek and lightweight. It is claimed to weigh 236 grams with a thickness of 11.2mm when folded. The foldable is claimed to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with an Adreno GPU, up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.

The device is expected to run OriginOS 4 based on Android 14 out of the box and pack a larger 5700mAh battery with fast charging capability. The poster also confirms AI features will be a part of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro.

In terms of camera, Vivo X Fold 3 is said to have a 50MP ultra-sensing main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 64MP 3x telephoto lens at the back. At the front will be a 32MP snapper for selfies and video calls.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro: Expected Price

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will retail via Flipkart and Vivo India website in the country along with offline channels. It is priced at 9999 yuan in China which means approximately Rs. 1.17 lakh in Indian rupees. India’s pricing of the foldable is expected to be somewhere around 1.5 lakh.
