Earlier today, vivo’s vice president of branding and marketing, Jia Jingdong, shared some images of the brand’s upcoming flagships: the vivo X200 Pro and the vivo X200 Pro mini. The pictures reveal the respective models’ color options and camera module design.

As seen in the pictures, the vivo X200 Pro will be available in four finishes: shiny dark blue, gold (titanium), white, and black (remember that these aren’t the marketing terms, just the names of the generic colors). While the frame looks metallic (with a shiny surface), the power button and volume rockets (on the right frame) are also visible.

Like its predecessor, the phone seems to have a massive circular camera module on its rear. The module houses Zeiss’ branding in the center, and three sensors (and one circular design element) placed parallely to each other (two on the left and two on the right semicircle). For better understanding, you can imagine the sensors to be in ten, eight, two, and four o’clock positions.

Unlike the vivo X200 Pro, the X200 Pro mini has a slightly different camera sensor alignment. The smaller flagship has the sensors placed in the same position as the X100 Pro. Again, you can imagine the sensors in the twelve, three, six, and nine o’clock positions on the circular camera island.

Besides, we know that the X200 Pro mini will ship in four colors as well: light green, pink, white, and black. Although the handset features a metallic frame, it could have a satin finish. The LED flash setup on both phones is outside the ring-shaped camera module (toward the top right of the rear panel).

vivo X200 Pro And X200 Pro mini Specifications

While the regular X200 Pro could come with a 6.8-inch screen, the X200 Pro mini is said to feature a 6.3-inch screen (similar to the iPhone 16 Pro). Both phones could run on the Dimensity 9400 SoC. Further, both phones might feature a triple-rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, another 50MP ultrawide sensor, and a 200MP periscope telephoto sensor that can deliver 3x optical zoom.

The camera-centric smartphones will also come with features like 4K 120 fps video, telephoto macro mode, landscape mode, and so on. Even with a smaller form factor, the X200 Pro mini might feature a 5,700 mAh battery, while the X200 Pro could come with a 6,000 mAh battery. An IP68 (or IP69) dust and water resistance rating should be common on both smartphones as well.

The vivo X200 series will go official in China on October 14, 2024.
