Expanding its mid-range portfolio, Vivo India has launched a new smartphone called the Vivo Y58 5G. The handset sports a large 120Hz screen, runs on a Snapdragon processor, and features a smart camera light for clicking clear portraits. Vivo Y58 5G Specifications
Out of the box, the Vivo Y58 has a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD screen that supports 120Hz refresh rate and a 1,000 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the smartphone runs on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 4nm SoC, which features two high-powered cores at 2.2GHz and six balanced cores at 2GHz. The chipset is paired with a generous 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The dual rear camera on the back is headlined with a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor and a 2MP (f/2.4) portrait sensor. On the front, users get an 8MP (f/2.05) selfie shooter. Powering the handset is a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging, which, according to the pricing, is a pretty sweet deal. Further, the company has also promised that the battery will retain its charging capacity for four years.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz + 5GHz), and Bluetooth v5.1. Straight from the boot, the Vivo Y58 5G runs on Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14. Additional features on the smartphone include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an IP64 dust and water-resistant rating, a 3.5mm headphone jack (which is quite rare on smartphones these days), and a stereo speaker setup.

The Vivo Y58 5G is available in two colors: Sundarban Green and Himalayan Blue. It is available on Flipkart, Vivo’s official online store and other leading retail stores.
The smartphone costs Rs. 19,499 and is available in one storage/memory configuration that provides 8GB of RAM (with 8GB of virtual RAM expansion) and 128GB of storage.
