Vivo Y93 has been finally launched in India. This latest mid-range phone from the Y series is similar yet distinct from the original Y93 and Y93s which were launched in China earlier. So, let’s read further to know about their specs and other details.

This Vivo phone is also a resident of the Notch city, as it comes with a tiny cutout (aka waterdrop notch) at the top. You get two color choices vis a vis Starry Black and Nebula Purple. It has a 6.2-inch HD+ Halo FullView display with a 19:9 aspect ratio.
Like most of the smartphones these days, this one too has a dual camera setup for your portrait photography. The setup comprises of a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and a secondary 2-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture. When it comes to the front camera, there is only a single 8-megapixel camera with f/1.8 aperture. However, Vivo phones are known for their selfie-ready cameras. Another good thing is that the phone supports ‘Face Unlock’ as well.

Unlike the Snapdragon Powered original, this one runs on octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, with 4GB of RAM. It has a 4030mAh battery which should be ample for ordinary day usage. And, it comes with an inbuilt 32GB storage with a memory Card Supported up to 256GB.
Out of the box, Y93 runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Funtouch OS 4.5 on top of it. For your security concerns, the Face Unlock and rear-mounted Fingerprint reader should suffice. It also has dedicated dual SIM and a microSD card slots. Vivo’s signature Vivo Jovi Smart Screen and Smart Split should be handy utilities.
