Jio Cinema has emerged as one of the most popular OTT platforms in the last few months, courtesy of Tata IPL 2023 free streaming and its wide array of content across various languages. With IPL 2023 coming to an end, Jio Cinema is all set to merge with Viacom 18’s Voot App. With this merger not only will the content of the two apps be available under one roof but also those who have a Voot Select Subscription will get Jio Cinema Premium Subscription for free.

DesiDime spotted that Voot Select subscribers can get up to 6 months of free Jio Cinema subscription that is currently priced at Rs. 999 for a year. One Reddit user @Mr_ _ backed the claim and posted a screenshot of the mail received from Voot with the coupon/promo code to claim the free Jio Cinema subscription.

How to claim Free Jio Cinema Subscription via Voot?

To avail the offer and get your free Premium Jio Cinema Subscription, follow the given steps-

Go to the Jio Cinema Help Center to Report an Issue.
Enter your mail id and mobile number that is registered with a Voot subscription.
Enter the payment proof for the Voot membership in detail. These details can be found inside the Voot app’s account section and by clicking on Billing History.
After attaching a screenshot, mention that you are a Voot select subscriber but don’t have access to Jio Cinema Premium.
Click on Submit.
You will get your coupon code in your mailbox.

In some cases, coupon codes might also not be sent immediately so you will have to wait till June end for it.

How to Redeem Coupon Code in Jio Cinema App?

Download the Jio Cinema Application.
On the homepage, click on More.
Click on Subscribe Now
Click on Apply Promo Code Section.
Enter the promo code you have received in your mail.
Click on Apply.

Your Jio Cinema Subscription will activate and offer 3 or 6 months of free Jio Cinema subscription which depends on your remaining Voot Select subscription.

Currently, Jio Cinema is offering popular shows like The Last of Us, Succession, House of the Dragon, and Game of Thrones. It has also signed a deal with NBC Universal for shows like The Office and Parks and Recreation.
