Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place on June 9 – 13, 2025. At the event, the Cupertino giant is expected to reveal the first glimpse of iOS 19, featuring a major visual overhaul. The upcoming iPhone operating system will draw its design language from visionOS, the user interface Apple designed for the Vision Pro.
The new operating system could include a more transparent and fluid user interface with floating navigation bars, rounded controls, redesigned app icons, menus, and other system buttons. Apple also plans to unify the operating systems across its ecosystem, giving iOS, iPadOS, and macOS a similar look and feel.

WWDC 2025: iOS 19 to Offer Wi-Fi Sync Feature
Ahead of the iOS 19 reveal at the WWDC 2025, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has shared details about a new feature to help users sync public Wi-Fi credentials across their Apple devices, saving them the time that goes into filling out the details separately in each device.
So if you’re accessing a public Wi-Fi network at a cafe, hotel, or office, you’ll have to fill in the details only once on one of your Apple devices, and iOS 19 will save it on the other devices with the same Apple ID, like your iPad and MacBook.
Presently, iOS 18 has a “Share Password” feature in place, which shows up a pop-up on your primary device (logged into the Wi-Fi network) when you try to log in from your secondary device to share the password and log in instantly. However, the Wi-Fi sync feature could make the process more convenient.

Apple’s Roadmap For 2025 And Beyond
iPhone 17, Apple Watch Series 11, and AirPods Pro 3: 2025
So far, Apple has launched several devices in 2025, including the iPhone 16e, iPad 11, the M3 iPad Air, the M4 MacBook Air, and the new Mac Studio with the M3 Ultra or the M4 Max chipset (not in order). The company has also unveiled the Powerbeats Pro 2 fitness earbuds.
The second half of the year will also see some major launches. The iPhone 17 series immediately comes to mind, with the new iPhone 17 Air joining the lineup with its slim chassis and an optional Smart Battery Case. At the September iPhone 17 launch event, the company should also unveil three new Apple Watches: the Apple Watch Series 11, the Apple Watch Ultra 3, and the Apple Watch SE 3.
The AirPods Pro 3 could also show up at the September launch event. In the last quarter of the year, the company may unveil the new MacBook Pro variants, possibly with the M5 chip, the successor to the Apple TV 4K, and the HomePod Mini. Last but not least, the company may also announce the AirTag (2nd Gen) by the end of this year.

Apple Bi-Annual Release Cycle and First Foldable iPhone: 2026
While Apple will follow the usual iPhone launch schedule in 2025, it could revamp its product cycle starting from 2026. While there’s an iPhone 17e (successor to the iPhone 16e) on the cards for spring 2026 (around March or April), the September 2026 launch event won’t include the baseline iPhone 18.
Yes, you read that right. Rumors suggest that Apple plans to release the iPhone 18 Pro, the iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the iPhone 18 Air (the higher-cost iPhones) in September 2026, while the baseline iPhone 18 may debut with the iPhone 18e in the spring of 2027, along with the iPhone 18e.
The year could be a big one for the foldable industry, as it could witness Apple stepping into it with its first foldable iPhone. The book-style foldable could launch toward the end of 2026, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro models at the September launch event (as the “One More Thing”) or a dedicated launch event where Apple can have eyeballs focused on it.
Besides the iPhones, the company will also unveil the yearly iterations of its products, including new iPads (powered by the M4 processor) and MacBooks (powered by the M5 processor).

Futuristic All-Glass iPhone, AI Glasses, and AirPods & Apple Watch With Cameras: 2027
The Bloomberg report also mentions how Apple plans to release a futuristic iPhone that looks like a sheet of thin glass to commemorate its 20th anniversary. Although not much is known about this model, it will feature a major redesign from the current form factor we’re used to seeing on iPhones.
In 2027, the company could also release its first AI-equipped smart glasses to compete with the Meta Ray-Ban glasses. Similar to the existing products in the market, Apple’s AI glasses will include cameras, speakers, and microphones, but the company is reportedly working on a new chipset for this product.
The product could benefit from the existing Apple Intelligence features, particularly the Visual Intelligence features that can recognize what’s in the camera feed and provide more information about it.
Last but not least, the company’s engineers are reportedly working on camera-equipped AirPods (with the chip “Glennie”) and Apple Watch models (with the chip “Nevis”). While the nature of features that the cameras could unlock remains a question, they could unlock certain Visual Intelligence-like capabilities for wearable devices.
For instance, the camera-equipped Apple Watch could provide navigation-related suggestions, while the AirPods could use the hardware to improve spatial audio performance (when paired with the Vision Pro).
