Xiaomi has always been active in rolling out new models every other month. It is currently in the second position in India in terms of smartphone volume shipped. It is gearing up for the Mobile World Congress to showcase the Xiaomi 13 series to the world. Turns out prices for two of the smartphone models dubbed Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G have leaked online even before MWC 2023 and any official communication from the smartphone maker itself.
Xiaomi 13 5G Price and Specifications
According to tipster Roland Quandt, the Xiaomi 13 5G with an 8GB+256GB configuration is expected to fetch EUR999 in Germany. It translates to INR 88,117/- in India although that won’t be its Indian pricing for sure. The phone is currently listed at CNY 4,299 in China where it has already appeared which translates into INR 51,000/-.
On the specifications front, the standard Xiaomi 13 5G in China hosts a 6.36-inch OLED 120Hz panel boasting HDR10+ and up to 1,900 nits of peak brightness. A 32MP shooter is located on the punch-hole cut-out onboard. We get a squaricle camera setup at the back housing triple cameras. We get 50MP, 10MP telephoto, and 12MP ultrawide snappers sparkling like anything.
There’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the latest to offer, in the chipset department while the configurations max at 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The standard model uses 50W wireless, 67W wired, and 10W wireless reverse charging to boost its 4,500mAh battery pack from 0 to 100% in mere minutes.
The folks at 91Mobiles got their hands on the Xiaomi 13 live images ahead of their global launch. It shows the retail box along with the phone, the 67W charging brick, a TPU case, and a charging cable. Xiaomi will include the charging brick unlike Samsung and Apple which are done with it for some reason.
Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G Pricing & Specifications Leaked
Roland Quandt listed the pricing for Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G as well which is probably a rebranded version of Xiaomi Civi 2 5G. The latter arrived in China at INR 2,399 for the base variant which loosely translates into INR 28,900/- for 8+128GB config.
On the specs part, the phone is likely a mirror of what Civi 2 5G brought to the table. There’s a 6.55” FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz panel, a dual-punch-hole at the front housing two 32MP snappers. There’s a triple rear camera housing 50MP primary, 20MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro lens onboard. The display lights up at 1,000 nits of peak brightness making its way even in the brightest of sunlight.
Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G is likely to get a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC just like the Civi 2 5G. It will follow the same 4,500mAh and 67W fast charging tech of the vanilla Xiaomi 13 5G.
