Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Pad 6 Series, & Smart Band 8 launched in China: Read on to know more

Xiaomi has hosted a grand launch event in China today, wherein the brand has announced a host of new products. The line-up includes the flagship Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi Pad 6 Series, and Xiaomi Smart Band 8.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra: Specs & Price

Xiaomi 13 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 Storage. The smartphone runs Android 13 out of the box with a layer of MIUI on top. It sports a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2600 nits brightness, dual speaker setup, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra packs a 5000mAh battery under the hood with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging support. The smartphone has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra is made for photography. The highlight features are a quad camera setup at the back with a raised rear panel. There is a 50MP primary 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor along with a 50MP Sony IMX858 ultrawide lens, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom, and another 50MP Sony858 sensor with 5x optical zoom. There is a 32MP selfie camera as well.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has been launched globally in the following storage configurations-

  • 12GB RAM+256GB storage- CNY 5999 (Rs. 71,600)
  • 16GB RAM+512GB storage- CNY 6499 (Rs. 77,500)
  • 16GB+1TB storage- CNY 7299 (Rs. 87,100)

It comes in black, white, and green color options with a faux leather finish.

At the moment there is no word on the India launch of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

Xiaomi Pad 6 & Pad 6 Pro: Specs & Price

The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It features a dual camera setup at the back with a 50MP main and a 2MP additional lens, while the front has a 20MP camera for selfies. It packs an 8600mAh battery with 67W charging and is priced at 2399 CNY (Rs. 28,625 approx.).

The Xiaomi Pad 6 is powered by Snapdragon 870 chipset with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It has a 13MP back and an 8MP front camera. The Pad packs an 8840mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It is priced at 1899 CNY (Rs. 22,647 approx.).

The common specs include an 11-inch 2.8K LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It runs Android 13 and is 6.51mm thick. It weighs 490 grams and connectivity options include WiFi 6 and USB 3.2 storage.

Xiaomi Smart Band 8: Specs & Price

The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 comes with a pill-shaped design and a strap that engulfs the pill. The swapping of straps has been made easier while the pill now comes with a metallic texture in black and gold options. The wearable can now be worn as a necklace or tied to shoelaces as well.

The Mi Band 8 sports a 1.62-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a 60Hz refresh rate, up to 600 nits brightness, and a pixel density of 326ppi. It comes with up to 200 watch faces that can be changed via Xiaomi Health App. The watch faces allow you to play games while the Band 8 also supports heart rate tracking, sleep tracking, bloody oxygen monitoring, menstrual tracking, and more. It gives 16 days of battery life on a single charge and supports fast charging as well. The 190mAh battery can be charged in 1 hour.

Xiaomi Smart Band 8 is priced at 249 yuan (Rs. 2975 approx.).
