Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 17 series in India with two flagship models, the Xiaomi 17 and the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The announcement took place on March 11, 2026, bringing Xiaomi’s latest flagship hardware and Leica camera systems to the Indian market. Let’s take a look at pricing and specifications.
Xiaomi 17 Series Price in India
The Xiaomi 17 starts at ₹89,999 for the 12 GB + 256 GB variant, and ₹99,999 for the 12 GB + 512 GB variant.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra starts at ₹1,39,999 for the 16 GB + 512 GB configuration. Unfortunately, Xiaomi has not released the Leica edition of the phone in India.
Early Bird Offers and Availability
Xiaomi is offering early purchase promotions between March 13 and March 17, 2026.
For the Xiaomi 17, offers include 512 GB storage at the price of 256 GB, free phone damage protection worth ₹9,999, up to ₹10,000 instant discount on select credit cards such as SBI, no-cost EMI options, and bundled services including 4 months of Spotify Premium, 3 months of YouTube Premium, 5 months of Google AI Pro, and Jio benefits worth ₹16,000.
For the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, early buyers can receive up to ₹10,000 bank discount on SBI cards, a free Xiaomi Professional Photography Kit Pro worth ₹19,999, along with the same subscription bundle and Jio benefits worth ₹16,000, plus no-cost EMI options.
Both phones will be available through mi.com, Amazon India, Xiaomi retail stores, and authorized partners.

Xiaomi 17 Specifications
The Xiaomi 17 features a 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness up to 3,500 nits. The display supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and it is protected by Xiaomi Shield Glass.
The phone runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with an Adreno 840 GPU. Memory configurations include 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM with 256 GB or 512 GB UFS 4.1 storage.
The rear camera system consists of a Leica-tuned triple camera setup. The primary camera uses a 50 MP Light Fusion 950 sensor (1/1.31-inch) with OIS, accompanied by a 50 MP ultrawide camera and a 50 MP telephoto camera with 2.6X 60mm optical zoom. On the front, the device includes a 50 MP autofocus selfie camera.
Battery capacity is 6,330 mAh, with support for 100W wired HyperCharge and 50W wireless charging (charger not sold in India). The phone measures 8.06 mm in thickness and weighs 191 grams.
Other features include IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance, stereo speakers, in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. Color options include Venture Green, Ice Blue, and Black.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra Specifications
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is the larger and more advanced model in the series. It features a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness up to 3,500 nits, along with Xiaomi’s HyperRGB display technology.
The device also runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB UFS 4.1 storage.
The camera system is a Leica-co-engineered quad camera setup. It includes a 50 MP main camera using a large sensor with LOFIC and Light Fusion 10DOL technology for improved dynamic range, a 50 MP ultrawide camera, and a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera capable of 75-100 mm mechanical optical zoom. The front camera is 50 MP.
Battery capacity is 6,000 mAh, with 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support. The phone measures 8.29 mm in thickness and weighs around 219 grams.
It also includes IP69 protection, 3D dual-channel IceLoop cooling, stereo speakers, NFC, in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and an IR blaster. Color options include Black and White.
