It is a known fact that the rupee has been on the decline in comparison to USD over the past few months. Xiaomi claims that this fall in value which has been nearly 15% since the beginning of the year has turned out to be a burden on the company due to the steep rise in input costs. This resulted in the company surging the prices of its recently launched products.
