Xiaomi Mi Max 2 Launched In India: Specifications, Features, Price and launch Offers

As we reported last month, Xiaomi India has launched the Mi Max 2 in India today. The jumbo size smartphone has become the first Mi series smartphone to launch in India in 2017. The successor of last years Mi Max and Mi Max Prime comes with 4GB RAM and 5300mAh battery. XIoami is targeting consumers who consume loads of multimedia content on their phones.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features

The Max 2 features a 6.44-inch IPS display with full HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layered on top. It boasts of a metal unibody design with U-shape antenna bands on top and bottom. As compared to its predecessor, it’s barely a mm thicker on the sides and weighs 8 grams more (211 grams).

The processor used of the Mi Max 2 is same as the popular Redmi Note 4. The Mi Max 2 is powered by a 14nm based Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset which is teamed with Adreno 510 GPU and 4GB RAM.

 In optics, the Mi Max 2 is studded with a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Xiaomi claims that it has improved audio of the phone as it has added stereo speakers for better gaming and entertainment experience.
The Mi Max 2 is backed by a 5300mAh battery which supports Qualcomm’s quick charge 3.0 technology for fast charging. As per the company, the Mi Max 2 takes an hour to refill 68 percent battery. The It comes with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and IR blaster for Remote functionality. It also features Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 Availability Details and Launch Offers

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will go on sale on July 27th will be available on both online and offline channels.If you are in a hurry to buy the Mi Max 2, you can do so during special sales which will be held on Mi.com and Mi Home store on 20th and 21st July. Xiaomi for Mi Max 2 has partnered with Reliance Jio to offer 100GB addition data on recharge of 309 and above.
