Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite and Redmi Note 9-series launched globally

Xiaomi launched a bunch of Android phones and a €40 smart pedestal fan for ‘global markets’ on April 30. The Android phones include Mi Note 10 Lite and two Redmi Note 9-series phones – Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro is similar but not the same as Redmi Note 9 Pro or Redmi Note 9 Pro Max that launched in India. All of the three phones have MIUI 11 software based on Android 10.

Price and Availability

All three phones will retail in two different storage and RAM options. Availability details for individual markets will be revealed later.

  • Mi Note 10 Lite 6GB + 64GB – 349 Euros (roughly Rs. 28, 500)
  • Mi Note 10 Lite 6GB + 128GB – 399 Euros (roughly Rs. 32, 500)
  • Redmi Note 9 Pro 6GB + 64GB – $269 (roughly Rs. 20, 185)
  • Redmi Note 9 Pro 6GB + 128GB – $299 (roughly Rs. 22, 185)
  • Redmi Note 9 3GB + 64GB – $199 (roughly Rs. 15, 000)
  • Redmi Note 9 4GB + 128GB – $249 (roughly Rs. 18, 700)

Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite

Mi Note 10 Lite is similar to the Mi Note 10, save for the slightly different camera system. The main sensor is 64MP Sony IMX686 and it’s accompanied by a basic 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 2MP depth sensor, and 5MP macro camera.

Mi Note 10 Lite has an AMOLED display and is powered by Snapdragon 730G octa-core chipset. There is a beefy 5260mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging.

Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9

The Redmi Note 9 Pro is similar to the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in India, with the only conspicuous difference being the lower resolution selfie camera (32MP vs 16MP).

The Redmi Note 9 is a new one and the most affordable of the three. It has a smaller 6.53-inch IPS LCD display and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Chipset is Mediatek Helio G85 that’s based on a 12nm process. The 5020mAh battery gets 18W fast charging.
