Xiaomi, a prominent technology leader, has officially announced the release date for the Xiaomi Pad 7 in India. This new tablet will replace the Xiaomi Pad 6 and is set to debut on January 10, 2025. The announcement was made through Xiaomi’s social media platforms, and an Amazon microsite dedicated to the Xiaomi Pad 7 has also been activated, showcasing its features.
The company has revealed that the tablet will be available with a keyboard and stylus, designed to provide a tactile experience. Having been launched in China in October, we already have insights into its specifications.

Xiaomi Pad 7 India launch Date
Xiaomi Pad 7 will come to India on January 10 and be sold via Amazon, mi.com, and offline channels. The Indian version of the Xiaomi Pad 7 was spotted on Geekbench and BIS confirming its arrival in India.
Xiaomi is also teasing a smartphone that might launch along with Pad 7. It is expected to be Redmi 14C 5G.
In China, Xiaomi also launched Pad 7 Pro which is not expected to enter the Indian market.

Xiaomi Pad 7 Expected Features
The Chinese version of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro flaunts an 11-inch 3.2K LCD screen with up to 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and 800 nits brightness. It runs Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset.
In terms of the camera, the pad has a 13MP sensor at the back and an 8MP sensor at the front for selfies. Under the hood is a massive 8850mAh battery with 45W wired charging speed. The Pad comes with side mounted fingerprint sensor for security and a new floating keyboard with 0-124degree step-less adjustment. 64-key adaptive backlight and mechanical press touchpad.

Xiaomi Pad 7 Expected Pricing
In China, Xiaomi Pad 7 comes in the following storage versions-
- 8GB RAM+128GB storage- CNY 1999 (Rs. 23,500)
- 8GB RAM+256GB storage- CNY 2299 (Rs. 27,700)
- 12GB RAM+256GB storage- CNY 2599 (Rs. 30,600)
The India pricing will also be along similar lines.
The pad comes in black, blue, and green shades.
