Xiaomi announced the Redmi Pad SE 5G during the Xiaomi Smarter Living Event earlier in April 2024. Now, the brand has confirmed that it will launch the 4G trim of the Pad SE later in July. Through this move, Xiaomi aims to target the market of consumers who still need 4G Tablets. The page for Redmi Pad SE 4G has gone live on Xiaomi’s own website which confirms some key details about the Tablet. It also confirms the launch date of the 4G Pad.
Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE 4G: Launch Date
The Xiaomi India microsite confirms that the Redmi Pad SE 4G is arriving in the country on 29th July. The teaser hints that the Pad will come in shades of Blue and Green.

Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE 4G: Details
Xiaomi has confirmed that the pad will sport an 8MP camera at the back and a 5MP snapper at the front. It will feature an HD display along with Dolby Atmos and 128GB of onboard storage.
According to the images in the teaser, the Tablet has a different back panel from the WiFi model as the 4G version has a circular camera panel while the WiFi version has a rectangular camera module. There is a SIM port on the left and volume and power keys on the right. The top edge sports a speaker grille and a USB jack.

Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE 4G: Expected specs
While the other specs aren’t confirmed we do have an idea about what the Tablet might entail. Redmi Pad SE 4G is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 680 chipset and run Android 14-based HyperOS out of the box. It might have 4G or 6GB RAM.

The upcoming 4G Tablet might feature an 8.7-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 400 nits of brightness. Under the hood is said to be an 8000mAh battery with 10W wired charging.
