Launched in India today, the Yamaha Aerox Electric is positioned as a premium performance electric scooter that blends the company’s racing DNA with next-generation electric technology. Although the pricing and availability of the e-scooter haven’t been announced yet, the specifications of the two-wheeler are already official.

Yamaha Aerox Electric Key Specifications And Features
The e-scooter features dual detachable 3 kWh batteries with high-energy cells (easy to charge at home), providing a certified range of up to 106 kilometers. It sports a 9.4 kW peak-power electric motor producing 48 Nm of torque, providing better acceleration than other electric scooters in the segment.
The Aerox Electric (Aerox-E) offers three riding modes — Eco, Standard, and Power — and an additional Boost mode for rapid acceleration. You also get power-assisted reverse mode for easier maneuvering in tight spaces.
For navigation and viewing the battery-related stats, the e-scooter features a five-inch color TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Additional features include a smart key system, twin LED Class D headlights, LED flashers, and a 3D-effect LED taillight.

You also get connected features in the Y-Connect app, including maintenance reminders and updates on the last parked location. Safety-related features include front and rear disk brakes, single-channel ABS, and traction control for driving through slippery terrains.
