Nokia 7 Plus

Nokia made a repeat of last year, announcing as many as 5 smartphones from the sets of MWC 2018, and Nokia 7 Plus was on the list. The handset is an upgraded version of the original Nokia 7 and is the first Nokia smartphone to flaunt an infinity display. The upgraded Nokia 7 Plus has enhanced specifications as well as the upgraded design. The phone boasts a 6-inch bezel-less screen that comes with FullHD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 mobile chipset paired with 4GB RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. For photography, the Nokia 7 Plus sports dual camera setup of 12MP wide-angle lens combined with a 13MP sensor to offer 2x optical zoom. The dual camera setup is accompanied by a dual-tone LED flash and Zeiss optics. On the front, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel fixed focus camera with a f/2.0 aperture lens and Zeiss optics on top. The Nokia 7 runs on the stock-Android Oreo out of the box, which will be upgraded to Android P after its launch. The phone is aided by a 3800 mAh battery and has support for both fast charging and wireless charging. In terms of connectivity, the Nokia 7 Plus comprises of Dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and NFC. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope. The Nokia 7 Plus India price is yet to be announced. In the global market, the handset is priced at €399, which roughly translate to Rs. 31,800 in Indian currency, and comes in two color options: Black/Copper and White/Copper.
