The much-awaited movie based on the 1983 world cup winning team India and then captain Kapil Dev is all set to hit the big screens tomorrow. The film is based on the Indian Cricket team’s journey of winning the world cup of 1983 defeating 2 times world cup winner West Indies at the finals at Lord’s England Cricket Ground. The movie is directed by Kabir Khan and stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone as Kapil Dev and Romi Bhatia.

83 Movie Theatre & OTT Release

The movie is all set to release in theatres near you tomorrow, that is 24^th December, and will be available in 5 languages- Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam along with Hindi.

If we talk about its OTT release, then the motion poster of the movie showed logos of Disney+Hotstar as well as Netflix inscribed, and hence post-theatrical rights are acquired by both these giants. It will most likely premiere 4 weeks after its theatrical release as earlier films like Thalaivi, Bell Bottom, Suryavanshi, and others.
