Motorola Edge 70 Design

While there are many other smartphones in this segment, the Edge 70 offers a unique selling proposition: an exceptionally thin side profile. Like the iPhone Air and the Galaxy S25 Edge, the mid-range handset measures 5.99mm at its thinnest, making it slimmer and much easier to hold.
The phones in the segment are mostly between 7 and 8.5mm thick, making the Edge 70 a decent choice for buyers who want an in-hand feel previously accessible only to flagship buyers. Furthermore, the smartphone weighs only 159 grams.

On the front, the phone sports a punch-hole screen with non-symmetrical bezels on all sides. On the back, you get a square-shaped camera module that protrudes a bit from the back panel. In addition to the regular buttons, the smartphone has a dedicated AI Key (on the left frame) to access AI features included with Moto AI 2.0.
Another key point is that the device is IP68- and IP69-rated for dust- and water-resistance. It also complies with MIL-STD-810H for use in harsh environmental conditions.

If there’s one area where the Edge 70 lags behind the competition, it’s battery life. The 5,000 mAh battery is a consequence of the smartphone’s ultra-thin chassis, as is the case with flagship alternatives. Nonetheless, the battery supports 68W fast wired charging, allowing the phone to reach 100% in less time.
There’s also support for 15W wireless charging. Connectivity options include 5G (16 bands), dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth v5.4, GPS, USB Type-C 2.0, and NFC. Moreover, the Edge 70 appears to be a compelling package, primarily for buyers who want to try the new ultra-thin smartphone segment without breaking the bank.
