Microsoft’s Age of Empires Will Roll out on Android as well as iOS Devices

Microsoft has confirmed that the much-awaited title Age of Empires Mobile Version will roll out on Android and iOS devices globally on 17th October. The title has been under development for a while now and has been made by TiMi Studio Group in partnership with World’s Edge. It will be published by Xbox Game Studios. Those interested can pre-register the game now from the official website.

Age of Empires: Launch Date

Microsoft recently took to X to confirm the launch date of the Age of Empires with a short announcement trailer. The post read, “Age of Empires Mobile goes global on October 17th! Dear governors, are you ready? Your villagers are ready to lead you into the world of the Age of Empires Mobile! Pre-register in the app store or Google Play store right now and be ready to start your conquest the moment it releases.” Microsoft wrote.

Talking about the announcement, TiMi Studios team leader says, “We expect players to mystify, mislead, and surprise their enemies through the realistic, immersive, medieval gameplay featured in Age of Empires Mobile.”

The title ranks as one of the most renowned real-time strategy video game franchises ever launched. Previously, it was accessible on PC, but the introduction of a mobile version will broaden its reach.

The game features several single-player modes inspired by the Age of Empires franchise, incorporating classic elements from the original title. Players can build upon the series’ legacy by selecting from a roster of the world’s most renowned historical figures to command their armies.

Players can choose from leaders like Barbarossa, Darius The Great, Hammurabi, John of Arc, and Leonidas I, each having skills and synergies with one another to war against rivals. Gamers can build their empires in a colorful, realistic ancient universe that includes royal cities, beautiful civilizations, and historical figures. There are impressive battlefields as well which offer one-of-a-kind innovative gameplay with castle attacks, against thousands of gamers around the world.
