Airtel has launched several new international roaming plans for its prepaid and postpaid customers. The new packs provide coverage in 184 countries. Interestingly, the tariffs start from Rs. 133/day (calculated on a specific postpaid plan). Airtel claims that the price makes these plans one of the most affordable options in the market, even when compared to local services.

Airtel Rs. 3,999 International Roaming Plan Price And Features

The new Aitel international roaming plan, for postpaid users, costs Rs. 3,999. For the price, it offers a validity of 30 days, which is where the Rs. 133 per day calculation comes from. Further, the plan provides 100 minutes of voice calling per day. With the plan, travelers also get a 12GB data allowance. They can also send up to 20 messages.

Additional Benefits Of The Plan

The new features of this plan include the convenience of accessing of 184 countries without having to get different SIM cards or subscribing to various services. Second, the plan now includes an auto-renewal feature for frequent travelers, eliminating the need to subscribe multiple times. Users can simply choose the duration of travel, and that’s it.

Other benefits of the Airtel international roaming plans include 24 x 7 customer support, activation on arrival, and validity across 184 countries, including the United States, Europe, Gulf regions, Asia, Africa, and more.

More International Roaming Options From Airtel

In addition to the Rs. 3,999 international roaming plan, travelers can choose between the Rs. 2,998 or the Rs. 649 plan. While the former offers 5GB of data and 200 minutes of voice calls for 30 days (along with 250MB and 100 minutes of on-flight services for 24 hours), the latter offers 500MB and 100 minutes of voice calling for one day.
