The much-anticipated Stranger Things on Netflix is coming back with its 4th season. Yes, the wait of the fans will be over as season 4 of the series releases this year. Recently creators Matt and Ross Duffer announced that Stranger Things Season 4 will premiere on 27 May on Netflix worldwide.
However, all its 9 episodes won’t drop together as this time the season will launch in 2 Volumes. The 4th season has been split into 2 volumes- Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1 having 5 episodes will drop on May 27 while the remaining 4 will drop as Volume 2 on July 1.

Although there were speculations that this might be the final season of the show but this is not true as it has been confirmed that Stranger Things will have a 5th season which will be the last one. There is no concrete news about its launch timeline but considering that we had to wait for 3 years after season 3, this time also wait might belong.
The official handle of Stranger Things has tweeted a letter to confirm the show’s launch. It reads-
“With nine scripts, over eight hundred pages, almost two years of filming, thousands of visual effects shots, and a runtime nearly twice the length of any previous season, Stranger Things 4 was the most challenging season yet, but also the most rewarding one,” creators wrote in the open letter that was published on last Thursday. One thing that is catching everyone’s attention is the unprecedented length that they are mentioning in the letter.
They have confirmed that the story they have written is too long to be completed in 4th season. Thus, the 4th season will be penultimate and 5th will be the final one. The spin-off is being hinted at too as they wrote-
“There are still many more exciting stories to tell within the world of Stranger Things; new mysteries, new adventures, new unexpected heroes,” the Duffers added. “But first we hope that you stay with us as we finish this tale of a powerful girl named Eleven and her brave friends, of a broken police chief and a ferocious mom, of a small town called Hawkins and an alternate dimension known only as of the Upside Down.”

Stranger Things Season 4 First Look
Since the last is getting closer, we hope to see the full-fledged trailers soon. Meanwhile, 4 short teaser posters have been revealed which hint at 4 different storylines- in Russia with Jim Hopper, in the lab with a young Eleven and scientist Martin Brenner, a new Creel house in Hawkins with the rest of the gang, and in California where Joyce Bryers took her family at the end of the third season.
