Tech giant Apple is planning to cancel or postpone the mass production of the 2024 iPhone SE 4. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes that the reason behind the move is due to the consistent lower-than-expected shipments of middle-tier and lower-end devices like the iPhone SE 3, iPhone 13 mini, and the iPhone 14 Plus.

One of the other reasons behind the postponement/cancellation could be the high costs of production due to the full-screen design. This will lead to higher selling prices and thus Apple needs to reconsider the product positioning and return on investment for iPhone SE 4.

iPhone SE 4: Leaks and Rumours

Various reports have claimed that Apple is working on a new iPhone SE 2024 that will have a similar design to the iPhone XR. It is said to have an all-display design with either a Face ID or Touch ID power button. It is expected to have a 6.1-inch LCD or OLED display with a notch. All these reports will come true only if Apple doesn’t cancel/postpone the iPhone SE 4, otherwise, they hold no importance as of now.
