Here’s When Apple Might Release iOS 18.4

Apple Intelligence in iOS 18.3

Although Apple didn’t mention a timeline, we believe Visual Intelligence could arrive on iPhone 15 Pro (review) with the iOS 18.4 update. Speaking of the next iOS update, Apple has updated its operating system’s landing page after the launch of the iPhone 16e. It now says that new Apple Intelligence features (and additional supported languages) will debut in early April.

The additional languages include Chinese (Simplified), English (India, Singapore), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish. Connecting the dots, it could be iOS 18.4 that brings the new Apple Intelligence features in early April to supported iPhones (including the new iPhone 16e).

iOS 18.4 Won’t Come With On-Screen Awareness For Siri

This also seems likely as the company released iOS 18.3 only recently (in January 2025). Unfortunately, iOS 18.4 won’t add on-screen awareness for Siri, one of the most anticipated and, at this point, the most delayed Apple Intelligence features showcased at WWDC 2024. Apparently, Apple has yet to remove some major software bugs, which has pushed the launch of the ability.

Either way, more details about the new features in iOS 18.4 should surface on the internet when the company rolls out its beta version for testers and developers.
