Apple Hosts Let Loose Event 2024: New iPad Pro, iPad Air, & More Announced

Apple has hosted its first launch event of 2024. The company has shared a ‘Let Loose’ pre-recorded event with fans across the globe wherein the brand has announced upgrades to its iPad lineup. Apple has launched two new iPad Air models, and two new iPad Pro models, the Apple Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro. All these products will also be available in India from next week.

Apple New iPads, Keyboard & Pencil Pro: Price & Availability

The all-new iPad Pro 11-inch model comes in the following storage configurations-

  • 256GB-Rs. 99,900 (WiFi version)
  • 512GB-Rs. 1,19,900
  • 1TB – Rs. 1,59,900 (starting price)
  • 2TB-Rs. 1,99,900 (starting price)

The 13-inch model comes in the following models-

  • 256GB-Rs. 1,29,900
  • 512GB-Rs. 1,49,900
  • 1TB- Rs. 1,89,900 (starting price)
  • 2TB-Rs. 2,29,900 (starting price)

The new iPad Air comes in the following storage variants-

  • 128GB- 11-inch model starts at Rs. 59,900| 13-inch starts at Rs. 79,900
  • 256GB- 11-inch model starts at Rs. 69,900| 13-inch starts at Rs. 89,900
  • 512GB-11-inch model starts at Rs. 89,900| 13-inch starts at Rs. 1,09,900
  • 1TB- 11-inch model starts at Rs. 1,09,900 | 13-inch starts at Rs. 1,29,900

The Apple Magic Keyboard starts at Rs. 33,900 in India.

Apple Pencil Pro costs Rs. 11,900.

Apple’s 10th-generation iPad now starts from Rs. 34,900 in India.  

All these products can be ordered today and will be available in India next week.

Apple iPad Pro

Apple has launched two new iPad Pros to offer next-level experience. These are way slimmer and lighter than previous-generation iPad Pros. The iPad Pro 11-inch model is 5.3mm thick while the 13-inch version is merely 5.1mm thick. The iPads are powered by an all-new M4 chipset and come with up to 2TB of onboard storage. The new iPads feature Ultra Retina XDR display along with 1600 nits HDR brightness and a nano texture glass design for the back. At the back is a 12MP ProMotion camera along with a LiDAR scanner and true tone flash. The iPads come with support for Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro. These are 5G capable and come with four speakers for immersive audio. iPad Pro runs updated iPad OS that comes with updates for pro apps.

Apple iPad Air

Apple has announced two new iPad Air versions as well. One is an 11-inch model while the other is a 13-inch model. The new iPad Air models are powered by M2 chip and feature up to 1TB of storage. These feature a 12MP camera at the back and a 12MP landscape camera at the front along with features like Touch ID, WiFi 6 SE, and stereo speakers. The iPads are made of 100% recycled aluminum and feature a liquid retina display. These come in 4 colors- New Blue, New Purple, Starlight, and Space Grey. The iPad Air also offers support for the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro.

Apple Magic Keyboard

Apple Magic Keyboard comes with a function row, aluminum exposure, and a large trackpad with haptic feedback. It will be available in two colors and will be thinner and lighter than ever before.

Apple Pencil Pro

Apple Pencil Pro is better than its predecessor. It comes with haptic feedback support and gestures like a barrel roll, double tap, and squeeze for doing actions without even touching the pencil on the screen. The Pencil Pro comes with tilt sensitivity, pressure sensitivity, pixel-perfect precision, and low latency. The pencil can be paired and charged wirelessly with iPad Pro and iPad Air. It now comes with ‘Find My’ so that you can locate it if it gets lost.
