realme 16 launched in India: Full Specs, Pricing, and Details

realme has officially launched the realme 16 in India, bringing a new mid-range option with a mix of display, battery, and durability-focused hardware. The phone is available in Air Black and Air White color options and comes in multiple storage configurations. Pricing is as follows: 

  • 8GB + 128GB: ₹31,999
  • 8GB + 256GB: ₹33,999
  • 12GB + 256GB: ₹36,999

The device is already on sale, and is available through Flipkart, realme.com, and authorized retail partners

realme 16 Specifications 

The device features a 6.57-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It supports up to 1,400 nits brightness in High Brightness Mode and includes 2,160 Hz PWM dimming.

It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. There’s also a 6,050 mm² vapor chamber cooling system. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, and an IR blaster.

On the camera side, you get a 50 MP Sony IMX852 sensor (1/2.93-inch, f/1.8, 24 mm equivalent), along with a 2 MP depth sensor. Video recording is limited to 1080p at 30 fps. On the front, there’s a 50 MP OV50D sensor for selfies (1/2.88-inch, f/2.4, 23 mm equivalent). The phone also has a tiny mirror at the back, to help you frame yourself with the rear camera.

The phone packs a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 60W SuperVOOC, 45 W PPS, and 13.2W PD.

It runs realme UI 7 based on Android 16, with 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates promised. The device is 8.1 mm thick, weighs 183 grams, and comes with IP68/IP69K dust and water resistance.
