Apple hosted a grand event in September 2024 wherein the brand announced the iPhone 16 Series, AirPods 3 Series, and much more. Now, the brand is all set to host its next major hardware launch event in October 2024 followed by one more in January 2025. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has shared a list of devices Apple is expected to roll out during this year’s last and 2025’s first launch event.

Apple October 2024 Event: What to Expect
Apple will reportedly launch a plethora of devices during the late October 2024 event, these include-
- Low-end 14-inch M4 MacBook Pro
- High-end 14-inch & 16-inch M4 MacBook Pro
- Mac Mini with M4/M4 Pro chipset
- iMac with M4 chipset
- Refreshed iPad Mini

- MacBook Pro with M4 chipset will come in two sizes- 14-inch and 16-inch. Speculations are rife that there might be new chipsets called M4 Pro and M4 Max for 16-inch MacBook Pro. The 14-inch MacBook Pro has leaked already. An alleged video has surfaced online which shows it has 16GB RAM and 512GB storage and is powered by M4. The MacBook has three Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, 70W USB power, MagSafe 3 charging cable included in the box. The MacBook can be seen in a new Space Black color. To know more about it, click here.
- As mentioned above, there might be an iMac powered by M4 chipset. It will come with some tweaks for faster and better performance. Alongside the Mac, Apple might also roll out new accessories like Magic Mouse, Magic Keyboard, Magic Trackpad with USB-C charging, and more.
- The refreshed iPad Mini 7 is expected to be powered by a faster chip and support connectivity features like WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 and better camera capabilities as well.
- Apart from hardware launches, Apple iOS 18.1 update will be the highlight of the October event. It will come with Apple Intelligence and these features will come for iPhones, iPads, and Macs. AI features will include writing tools, notification summaries, and more.
- After years of waiting Apple might also launch a new Mac mini with a major overhaul. Rumors claim that the M4 and M4 Pro chipsets will power new Mac Minis. The new Mac Mini might also support five USB-C ports instead of USB-A ports.

- 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air are expected to arrive with M4 chipset. These might launch in the first half of 2025 and deliver significant performance upgrades. The MacBooks are said to get new design elements as well.
- 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air might also arrive in the first half of 2025. These will be powerful and affordable alternatives to iPad Pro and be powered by the same M4 chipset.
- Low-end iPhone SE will also launch between March and April 2025. It will be the first update to the lineup after 2022 and this time iPhone SE 4 will have a modern look. It is expected to feature a 48MP main camera and be powered by A18 chipset and cost around Rs. 47,600.
The second half of 2025 will see the launch of the iPhone 17 Series, New Apple Watches, and M5 Macs.
